Walmart quietly made two API updates that are very relevant to marketplace automation

Walmart Marketplace’s developer update page shows two fresh changes: on September 24, Walmart added Seller Performance endpoints to its Insights API; on September 25, it added Report Scheduler APIs. Both are currently U.S.-only.
This sounds technical, but the business implication is important.
A marketplace-management system can increasingly obtain seller-performance information programmatically and schedule reports without someone manually downloading Excel files.
Think about it like this:
Walmart data → scheduled retrieval → AI analysis → exceptions → recommended action.
Walmart has also expanded Ship With Walmart API examples to Canada, Chile and Mexico, while its multichannel fulfilment orders now receive tracking identifiers before carrier pickup.
Seller action: start keeping API-capable marketplace functions separate in your planning: Orders / Inventory / Pricing / Listings / Performance / Reports / Fulfilment. That will make future automation much easier.
